Melinda’s husband Jim to be killed off on Ghost Whisperer
Wow. So CBS answer to Ghost Whisperer’s ratings is to kill off Melinda’s hubby Jim, played by David Conrad, and make her a widow. Um, what?
Although CBS declined to comment, multiple sources confirm what has been buzzing on the Internet for weeks (final final warning): Melinda is about to become a widow, as producers have decided to kill off TV hubby Jim (David Conrad) early in season 4.
So how many people are going to stop watching if Jim kicks the bucket? I bet quite a few.

iam not happy if they kill jim off the show i was hoping for a baby

I think that IF they kill jim off the show I Wouldn’t be as interested. Sounds corny but jims character is part of what makes the show. Did you see how he stood up for melinda to her mother and is always there to calm her. id be totally upset if this decision goes through.

If David Conrad is killed off. I will stop watching Ghost Whisperer. I’m tired of TV shows killing off or married couples getting divorced or having affairs just to give the ratings a boost. It’s sad that this is what it takes for people to get interested in a TV show.

I can’t at all understand why they would “kill” Jim, just so the dynamic between he and Melinda will be “better’ or ‘different’. And why in the do THEY keep saying that this season is about “How love transcends death.” Hello! We already KNOW THAT from watching the first three seasons. Someone please tell them to not insult they viewing audience. I hope the producers goal, in their implentation of (in their own words)”what they have been thinking about doing for a long time”, is not to kill their show…because that will be the outcome if they kill Jim off- even if he remains as a ghost. First they killed Andrea off, and now this? This will definitely be too much for this viewer and I’m sure so very, VERY many others.

its sorta being suggested now that maybe Jim might not die,her might be in a sorta limbo situation. If he dies i, for one will not watch it again

I would definitely stop watching the show. It was sad when her friend was killed at the end of the first season and when Payne left the show. He was a great charachter and very funny. Jim loves and cares a lot about Melinda. It would be unfair for him not to cross over if hes’ killed, but maybe by his choice he would want to stay to help like Melinda does. So will Melinda find another love??? What would happen?
